Where should I eat next? 👇👇 Hi! 👋It's been a minute since I've introduced myself. I'm @thedianaedelman and I'm a vegan foodie and plant-based dining expert. 💻 I started Vegans, Baby in May 2016 because after years working in 🐘 rescue in Thailand, I wanted to continue to make lives better for animals, but activism in the realm of protests, etc. wasn't the best mentally for me. So, I set out to make change using a different form of activism -- food. 🍴 I set out to explore my home of Las Vegas and showcase what 🌱 food I was eating, and what restaurants had 🌱 options. It was mission (and still is) to make a 🌱 lifestyle approachable and accessible and show that you aren't missing out on flavors or experiences by going vegan. 🎉 Yesterday marked my six-year anniversary of returning to Las Vegas and going vegan. Since I launched Vegans, Baby I've had the honor and privilege to work with some of the most talented chefs in Las Vegas (and the world) and help restaurants add more vegan options and bring more diners through their doors. ✨I am the founder of Vegan Dining Month, now in its 5th year. ✨I'm partner with the James Beard Foundation and Life is Beautiful where I curate culinary events. ✨I'm the exclusive vegan curator for @alluringafrica and founder of @veganworld4u_ and take people around the 🌍 to show them they can travel and be 🌱 . They've been recognized as some of the best in the wrld by @travelandleisure and @fodorstravel . ✨ I write the annual Las Vegas Vegan Dining Guide (out now, link in bio). ✨I work with brands and restaurants to help them promote their 🌱 offerings. ✨I'm pitching an unscripted 📺 show. ✨In Aug., I got a place in NYC to grow Vegans, Baby and split my time between NYC and LV. 🥰I try to make the 🌍 a kinder place in everything I do.
