We’re Eric + Brittany + Caspian Highland, and we’re driving around the world for the next 10-15 years. We left the United States in October and we’re in Honduras now, heading towards South America. We’ve actually been traveling full-time since February 2014. Most of those years were spent in the United States. We were building small businesses to sustain our travels, gaining skills, growing in our love for wild places, getting out of debt, and so many things that paved that way for this big trip to happen. In 2018, I (Brittany) “discovered” overlanding. But because I had a one-year-old, I figured vehicle travel across international borders was for other people. It couldn’t possibly be for me. But I couldn’t let the idea go. When I found out other families had literally driven around the world, there was no excuse. I knew we could do it, too. And since then—mid-2018–we worked towards leaving. And now, here we are. In the middle of Central America. We’re doing it. 💛 Many, many of you have joined us over the past couple of days. Thank you!
