Being first generation Mexican American and seeing my mom work her ass off for us, to provide for her 5 kids and still find time for herself in the midst of highs and lows was something that I don’t take for granted. Honestly, it’s probably why I am the way I am. Mom was telling me that she always had big dreams but her mother wasn’t the best at showing her the love and encouragement growing up however, that didn’t stop my mother from trying new things and having an incredible drive and to “make shit happen and “let things go” + to love her kids sooo much to the point she lost herself trying to take care of us. After @spoiledlatinasummit she cried to me and said that she was so proud of the community I’ve built and that she had so much fun with you guys! “Estuvo todo muy bonito!” Me dice “yo también tuve sueños pero mi mamá era dura y no los aconsejo. Y en esos tiempos era muy duro”. I said “pues mi sueños son los mismos mom, es para nosotros” 😭 💓 Te quiero mucho mom! “La reina Del Show” she said she was dying for me to invite her on stage 😂😂 Thank you @chiquis you made her whole weekend!! 💋
