A natural part of aging is loss of bone and soft tissue, and different parts and layers of the face age at different rates. In women, the lower face ages faster than the upper and the area around the mouth, jawline, and chin recede, causing deflation, wrinkling and sagging. The approach I took with this beautiful, elegant patient was: Over the course of several visits, I used a variety of hyaluronic acid fillers to reflate and restore her natural contours, highlighting her authentic beauty but not changing it. I used soft yet resilient hyaluronic acid fillers from the RHA line to her upper lip to restore the balance of her lips. I used a cannula to target specific contours of the face, such as the nasolabial folds, with minimal invasion. I injected a combination of the brand new and incredible RHA1- Redensity for the areas in and around her lips, Restylane Contour for her midface and RHA4 to her jawline and chin to better define that area. The end result is subtly dramatic rather than immediately obvious regarding what she’s has done.
