The Mauna Loa eruption continues as we enter day 5 of active lava flow. As of this morning 2 fissure vents remain active with fissure 3 being the dominant source. The flow front is currently 2.7 miles from Saddle Road and is slowly making its way down and it is hard to predict if or when the lava will reach it.
