Growing up next to the Thames and cold water swimming played a huge part in the inspiration for my latest project ‘Thames Glass’. From a young age my family and I would immerse ourselves in the cloudy waters, feeling at absolute peace swimming alongside nature. Now having created glass artefacts using local and waste materials sourced in and around the river, it has given me an even greater understanding for these materials and their provenance.
