It’s been one month without you, and I miss you everyday. My dad was the best father anyone could imagine. He was always so protective and supportive of me, and we understood each others sarcasm and jokes like no one else’s could. Although this is truly painful, I am left with some of the best memories that I am forever grateful for. Every time I danced at a Katy football game, in a sea of thousands of people my dad was the loudest voice in the stadium. No matter how nervous I was I always heard my dad cheer for me and I instantly smiled. When the holidays rolled around he would take me to work with him the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so we could get lunch at our favorite Chinese buffet, and I am so blessed that we got to have lunch at a buffet the Wednesday before Thanksgiving one last time. He would also make it a point to take me to breakfast every time I got to visit from college and I’ll cherish those conversations forever. And I will never forget when we went to Disney and he said to everyone we met “it’s my first time at Disney and I’m so excited!”. My dad taught me what good music was, to know my worth, how to be strong and confident, and to trust in God even when times are hard. I am at peace knowing that he is in heaven smiling down at me and that we will meet again one day 🕊️ I love you dad ♡ Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my family through this, I truly feel so loved.
