hello!! we are so incredibly excited to share our @warpduo entry, "Parting Words" for the NPR 2023 @tinydesk contest :") "Parting Words" is a song that born from improvisations for our upcoming album, and has grown with us over time into a piece that expresses the gratitude and love we harbor for each other and the loved ones in our lives, and what we might say to and leave behind for one another through simple melodies, energy, and sound. after recording a few versions, we decided to share our first take, a raw and emotional version of this piece that captures the magic we felt discovering the music as we played, building a world of sound together. we hope you enjoy these clips—find the full video on our yt channel 😎
