There’s a lot of DIY around here, but this space is also committed to lgbtq+ and women’s rights, sustainability, supporting black, brown, and indigenous folks, and general patriarchy smashing. If you’re expecting me to quote unquote stay in my lane, you’re free to see yourself out at anytime— no need to announce your departure. I have boundaries here to maintain a safe and healthy space where I’m able to engage and support people in this community. 1. Before you slide into the DMs demanding a link to something or answer to a question— say hello, it’s the nice and courteous thing to do! 2. Before you ask a question, scroll the comments or look around a bit on my account to see if the answer has already been given or I’ve already made the thing you’re looking for. 3. If you think something I do or create is ugly or Stupid or you wouldn’t do it that way, you don’t need to share with the class.
