I thought I had to have the “perfect body” to workout In reality, there’s no right or wrong way that your body should look. HOWEVER, if I’d have known before that my body would end up looking like this now, I probably would’ve cried. The thought of being fat, or having fat made me cold to the core. I have had to unlearn a lot of hateful things over the past few years in order to love myself, and others. I feel like unlearning behaviours is definitely harder than learning things for the first time. The things my body’s been through over the past couple of years, has needed my attention more than what I physically looked like. I’m so happy that I’m getting back into loving movement, but for a long time it wasn’t the priority, and that’s ok. I hope this video is able to help you feel less alone with your insecurities today. You are wonderful and deserving of taking up space in a workout environment, regardless of what your body looks like, I promise. I love you. Rope pull, seated row, dumbbell shoulder press, B stance Dumbbell Hip Thrusts (left and right), tricep dips, kneeling incline push ups. Finisher : complete each move back to back for 3 rounds. 30 secs each movement. Bodyweight jump squats, chest to floor burpees.
