For so long we have looked into those bright blue eyes and asked: what are you!? Today nicchi came out, wonderful and monstrous, on www.nicchi.life @nicchi.life is not easily explained, better experienced, which entails deliciously sculpted and crafted leather bags, excessive mash-up of aesthetics and stories to make you go “aw”, “oh” and “aaarrrh”. Working closely with @nicholasriis and @samdegroottt, masters of taste and distaste, for two years now has been full of delight. I have had the joy of populating the nicchi universe with characters and illustrations from our shared dreams and nightmares.
