M A R R I E D ! After three years of being engaged, we finally did it! Last Friday night, Ryan played a show with Blind Pilot at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland. All of my bandmates were there watching on our day off. Everybody ended up backstage and I looked around seeing some of our closest people there next to a courthouse and jokingly asked Ryan if we should get married. Within a few minutes @stelthulvang got ordained online and we were having a ceremony in the middle of the square. Everyone made a tunnel with their hands for me to walk through while they hummed “Here Comes the Bride”. After we said some short but sincere vows we were pronounced husband and wife!!! Ryan’s bandmates serenaded the square while we had our first dance. @wesleyschultz and @brandybschultz ran to their hotel room and ordered champagne and threw us a fun party with a pineapple for a wedding cake and hotel stationary as a guest book. We even happened to have the amazing @oliviabastone there to document the whole thing. It was spontaneous and wonderful. We wish so many of you could have been there.
