TWO YEARS CANCER FREE TODAY 🧁 if I could hand this experience back to the universe and make it go away I would. I really do wish it never happened - this is something that will impact me not only mentally but physically for manyyyy more years to come. This post isn’t about the hair loss or needles or surgeries or menopause though. It’s about the lessons I’ve learned, mindset shifts I’ve gone through, and life skills I’ve sharpened as a result of having cancer. While there are extremely beautiful things that have come out of this experience, I want to make the distinction that they don’t justify its heaviness. They’re more like a cherry on top of a melted milkshake made out of poop 💩 <3 That being said - today is a day to celebrate. And to you, yes you 🫵, reading this: TODAY IS A DAY TO CELEBRATE!!!! YOU’RE ALIVE!!!! (that’s kind of a really huge deal). Celebrate yourself on a daily, weekly, as much as you want, basis. Get a sweet treat, gift yourself workout, go on a walk with a friend.
