I’ve been a @bridgeteverett fan for a while, but I’ve never been able to catch her live. Last night that changed, and so did my life. At @joespub last night, the self proclaimed “regionally famous cabaret singer” delivered a joyful, naughty, risk taking, hilarious, heartfelt, and ultimately transformative performance. Backed by the Tender Moments, she delivered songs of true celebration. In this rapidly changing city, she reminded me why I love and live in NYC. Go see her if you get a chance, and watch her incredible @hbo show Somebody, Somewhere. Thank you, @bridgeteverett for, as the kids say, giving me life.
