Finally got some time to write this but last weekend was definitely one of the top 5 gigs I’ve ever done of all time! I got to play with the legendary Danny Seraphine and his band CTA (California Transit Authority) the music of Chicago! Big shoes to fill tbh the trombone book is not easy. I got to play this gig last year too but this time around felt more comfortable. We got to go to Kona and do two nights at Blue Note Hawaii so by the end of the last show my lip got super raw and tender; but it was worth. The highlight of this weekend was listening to Jeff Coffey sing Street Player and Hard to Say I’m Sorry...
