I work in marketing and I always say in this line of work, you can’t plan for virality- you can only prepare to react to it. I never in a million years thought I would be in a situation to apply this school of thought to my own personal life. I have been overwhelmed with the love and interest in our wedding and story. Thank you for every kind comment, DM and repost. I am truly touched ♥️ In this crazy past week, I also learned how fast misinformation can spread. To set the record straight, I want to dispel pieces of misinformation I have read in some articles. 1️⃣ Sean is not the “heir” of Givenchy. Yes, his great uncle was indeed Hubert de Givenchy, the couturier who founded the Givenchy brand. The business was acquired by LVMH and the family has had no ties to it for many decades now. 2️⃣ The family does NOT own the Basilic Sainte-Clotilde. Please refrain from continuing to spread this misinformation in respect to the Church and community. 3️⃣ I am NOT a 유학생, I am a 교포: I am NOT an international student from South Korea, I am a first gen immigrant. I strongly identify with my Korean roots and Korea will forever be an integral part of my heart and soul. 🇰🇷 My last name is 정 after all. However, I was raised in North America and this is my home now. 4️⃣ The ONLY interview we did was the article on Vogue Weddings. All the information in the Vogue article is true and comes directly from us. Beyond the glitz & glam of the Vogue article, I am literally just a girl in the world. 🎀 I honestly am not sure where to go from here (I am quickly running out of wedding content 🥶) so please be patient and gentle with us as we are starting our new chapter as a married couple. Thank you for all the questions submitted earlier this week! I’ll be answering the most frequently asked ones soon. xo, Dahye
