I’m definitely one of those people who, if they’re not working at 100mph, finds it hard to switch off and just relax. This past week looking after Buddy has been incredible but also really tiring. I haven’t wanted to leave him so have mostly been indoors watching him, playing with him and obsessing over his bowel movements 🤦‍♀️ Tonight for a bit of ‘me’ time I left him with Matt and took myself off for a swim in my happy place. It was just what I needed and I feel so much better for it. I do still feel guilty for not being productive this past week but I’m trying to remind myself that it’s summer, it’s a million degrees outside and it’s ok to have downtime away from my laptop and my phone.
