my work & life situation ⤵️ this is not my typical type of content but wanted to be vulnerable about my current life situation since i do post about traveling, life, and all of these beautiful places online. many of you know i had a remote job that allowed me to work from anywhere and without restriction of traveling! which is where i got started with all of my travel content and posting back in summer of 2023 when i did an entire summer abroad! my (old) company did a restructuring a few weeks and i was blindsided. a bunch of people got laid off and unfortunately i was one of them. i felt shocked and confused because this was my DREAM job! 😢 but i guess sometimes the universe has other plans... and that’s ok too 💗 “everything happens for a reason” - even though i don’t know the reason yet i am so thankful for the 3 years of flexibility to see TONS of new countries, places, and meet up with friends in amazing destinations. i have no idea what my next life plans look like and fortunately i was in a phase of time where i have no lease, no major responsibilities or bills, and can take this time to truly figure out what i want next. for now, my content will stay the same but who knows what it’ll look like in a few months from now! let’s be real though whatever job or place i move to next i’ll never stop traveling! ✈️🤪 so feel free to follow along for all things travel because it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon! #reallife #vulnerablepost #laidoff #traveltheworldwithme #solotravel #femalesolotravel
