Q+A with @rosiejjohnston founder of @byrosiejane 💡What inspired you to start By Rosie Jane? Rosie (a celebrity makeup artist, native Aussie, and mother of 3) founded By Rosie Jane in 2010 while searching for her own signature scent. Finding nothing that met what she was looking for - clean, memorable, casual and every day - Rosie created her first fragrance, Leila Lou, and she has since become a pioneer in the clean fragrance space and is one of the leading CLEAN fragrance brands at Sephora. 🙌How do you pay it forward to support others? We work with the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles - donating time and products to women affected by homelessness. 👀A founder you admire is... I am SO inspired by people and brands that truly grow from nothing to become something. Some founders I’ve always admired include: @eileenfisherny, @laramerriken, and @raeganmoyajones. ✒️Our Thoughts... 1. When I first sprayed the perfume in the air to smell it, there wasn’t much of a strong scent. When I used the perfume on my wrist however, it did have a really nice scent. I liked how light it was and it works really nicely as an everyday perfume! 2. I tested the Rosie fragrance of the eau de parfum and found it to be very sweet, light, and floral. It is great to wear as a light everyday scent, as it is not super indulgent. I love that By Rosie Jane is centered around all clean ingredients — the perfume is vegan, cruelty free, recyclable, and carbon neutral! 📷: @startupgirldaily @shojivankuzumi
