The acupuncture point Anmian literally translates to peaceful sleep and as its name suggests, its purpose is to induce sleep. If you’re doing your Gua Sha routine in the evening spend a little extra time massaging this powerful acupressure point! Use the rounded tip of your Gua Sha tool to gently massage the point for one minute, I then like to use small gentle strokes around the whole area behind the ear for 15-30 seconds then finish by gently moving the U shaped edge behind the ear and down the neck.
