On Friday the @elopemidnorthcoast team came together to weave their magic into one helluva secret elopement. And now we can share it with you! Kate and Sam first met as kids kicking round the same suburban street, but didn’t really pay much attention to each other. Kate knew Sam as the talented musician who played at school assembly and Sam knew Kate as the horse obsessed girl who rode over and ruined his diy golf course in the reserve behind their houses. Sparks did not fly. That is until they both found themselves back in the sleepy beachside town they grew up in and got to talking. They both returned to where they were living but kept in touch. Bellingen was the halfway point between where they lived and they would often meet there. They say it’s where they fell in love, so it only felt natural that they get married there. They didn’t want to get married with hundreds of eyes on them, and also wanted to minimise their footprint when planning their wedding. So an elopement seemed like the natural choice. They were married by the river by @wed_by_fred in a heartfelt and emotional ceremony. After some champers and quick portraits they returned to the castle where their guests were waiting and entered as Josh from @lttlekng played a special song they had requested to surprise their guests. Everyone had a little boogie oh the front steps before sitting down to a three course meal perfectly crafted by @coastalharvest_ at a table so dreamy only Mik from @onedayweddingsandevents could’ve put it together.
