Chicago, my sweet, sweet Chicago. I never envisioned a love story quite like this one, yet here we are. I never envisioned a triumph quite like this one, yet here WE are. And I never envisioned a departure quite like this one.....yet here we are. The highs and the lows, were always gonna be a part of my story, but I never saw them reaching as high and as low as they did while I was here. And even still, you guys stuck with me despite it all. Thankyou. . Being drafted here was nothing short of a dream come true. There truly was no better place for me ....to be me. Over the past 4 years I have been able to learn so many new things about myself as a competitor, a sister, a friend, a teammate, and a leader in my community. When I bought my home on the south side, I thought to myself “damn it feels good to have a place to call home”. & “home” is rarely experienced as a WNBA player, but when u have it, u just know you’ve found your place.... And Chicago.... was definitely my place. I just felt like....me and chicago just kinda went together. The fashion, the art, the culture, the hoop scene, it was all too perfect. But as we know.....all things are subject to change. And so this is goodbye. The time here will forever hold a special place in my heart. I have so much I want to say but ....character limits 🥴 so I’ll keep it short. To the Sky organization, thank you for the past 4 years.
