Last week we announced the #BFTW2022 B Corps! Best for the World is an annual program that recognizes the Certified B Corporations in the top 5% of B Impact Assessment scores in each impact area –– Community, Workers, Customers, Governance, and Environment. Over the next few weeks, we're going to dive deeper into each section of the B Impact Assessment. First up ➡️ Community. The Community section evaluates a company's engagement with and impact on its community. This impact area includes questions about diversity, equity & inclusion, economic impact, civic engagement, and supply chain management. In addition, this section recognizes business models that are designed to address specific community-oriented problems, such as poverty alleviation, local economic development, and charitable giving.
