Dear @mosseri I did this makeup look to try get your attention, And no I didn’t create a reel for this makeup look 😅 Reels should be optional and not FORCED onto people! The performance of photos has tanked by more then 90% at this point, Many people (including myself) feel like they are waisting their time being on @instagram if they don’t do or enjoy video focused content😓 I do agree that reels are a great addition to Instagram but it should be OPTIONAL to do them and not forced onto everyone😑We want to be able to post photos and still be able grow and get seen by our followers😃 It’s gotten so hard to naturally connect and build relationships with our followers and friends as we are always being recommended new people to follow and ads rather then being shown posts from friends,family and people we actually follow! If we follow someone we should be able to see their post! We are all upset with what’s happening to Instagram 😭 This app has changed my life completely and has given me opportunity I would have never gotten otherwise. I would hate to see this app disappear in the next few years and it will if something isn’t changed soon, so please just listen to your users and make Instagram Instagram again💙 Thank you @mosseri for some great updates but please listen to everyone and actually improve the app to be Instagram again and not another version of TikTok🫣
