Meet Mikei Hall, our senior art handler at Tate! 📦

We caught Mikei dashing from one gallery to the next when he told us all about working with artist @HewdjLocke at Tate Britain. 

Hew Locke’s installation is made up of 150 figures, each imagined by Locke and handmade down to every colour and detail. Many of the figures roam on foot through the gallery, some on horseback, some carried, one in a wheelchair. There are children, drummers, people in masks, costumes and headdresses, others wearing ferocious animal heads, flower crowns or suits made of collage. The figures in ‘The Procession’ invite us to walk alongside them, into an enlarged vision of an imagined future.
