Q+A with @vania.bean founder of @shopsunnytails 💡What inspired you to start Sunny Tails? I started Sunny Tails after getting my dog during the pandemic & making so many genuine friendships in the dog community. I quickly became that crazy dog mom obsessed with training & wanting to spoil him. That was when I knew all things dogs was my passion. I’ve always loved fashion & design & wanted to dress up my dog in my own style & aesthetic. I fell in love w/ creating fun, functional, & timeless accessories for our best friends. 🙌How do you pay it forward to support others? Part of our mission is to help shelter animals - for every order purchased we donate half a pound of dog food to animal shelters across the country. As a female small business owner I also love connecting with female owners & supporting their brands by sharing them with my community, purchasing from small businesses for my supplies, & sharing my experiences to help others navigate their journey. 👀A founder you admire is... @sarablakely of @spanx - especially as a female founder who bootstrapped her company, persevered without a background in retail, & grew her brand in the early days with almost no budget for marketing. Similarly to how Sara relied heavily on word of mouth & sharing her personal experiences to market the brand, I’ve been encouraged to build Sunny Tails around my experiences as an obsessed dog mom looking to find timeless & quality accessories for my dog. ✒️Our Thoughts... 1. Not only are Sunny Tails products super cute & fashionable for my pup, but they feel durable & high quality as well. I love the slick material of the leash because it’s easy to clean & light weight. The poop bag holders are also such a cute idea. And I love the gold hardware detailing on all the walker items. I highly recommend Sunny Tails and can’t wait to order more! 2. I tried the Meadow Green set - the leash, collar, & waste bag go so well together & look adorable on my dog. My dog tends to play rough, & the collar has been durable & still looks amazing.
