Ok guys I think I'm getting avo control 🥑🤯🤪! As you can tell I'm finally back to using puns and I actually missed them and I hope you did too! But the good news is we have another no bake recipe which is a decadent, creamy and oh so dreamy raw chocolate and avocado mousse tart! I promise you can't taste the avocado and this beauty is packed full of healthy fats, is gluten free and is the perfect sweet treat for after work. Or for lunch, breakfast no judgements as hey I've done all of these. 🤭 No bake avocado mousse tart 🥑💫 Base: ▪︎1 cup almonds ▪︎1 cup peeled hazelnuts ▪︎1/4 cup cocao powder ▪︎Pinch sea salt ▪︎1 packed cup pitted dates (approx 150g soaked 15 minutes beforehand) Choc mousse: ▪︎1/2 cup coconut milk (chilled part of the can) ▪︎2 medium ripe avocado's ▪︎125g dark chocolate (I used 70%) ▪︎1.5 tsp vanilla ▪︎1/4 cup maple syrup ▪︎1 scoop @macr0mike choc hazelnut protein (or increase the below to 1/4 cup cocao powder) ▪︎3 TBS cocoa powder ▪︎Pinch sea salt Method: 1️⃣ Line a 20cm tart tin with baking paper. 2️⃣ Process all the nuts in a food processor followed by the remaining ingredients until the mixture comes together and sticks together when pressed. Add a little coconut oil if required. Transfer the mixture into your removable tart tin and push the mixture evenly along the bottom and up the sides of the tin. Place in the fridge to set whilst you make your filling. 3️⃣ Melt the chocolate over a low heat in a small saucepan until fully melted, set aside to cool for 5-10 minutes. 4️⃣Add all the filling ingredients to a food processor or @vitamix except the melted chocolate. Process for a few minutes or until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Add your melted chocolate and combine. If you would like a creamier mousse you can add a little plant milk. 6️⃣Scoop your mixture into your chilled tart base and smooth over. Set aside the tart in the fridge for 4 hours or until set.
