Dear little Iz, You were able to become your own hero and accomplish your goal of being apart of a Worlds team. Through cheer I have learned more than I ever could have anywhere else. I would not be the individual I am today without it. The people this sport has brought me is something I will forever be thankful for. It gave me a space to be myself and it was a place to go to forget about everything going on outside the 4 walls of the gym. There were days I wanted to give up because I felt it was the easy way out, but knowing others counted on me let me push through when it was tough. The losses and wins are only a moment in time but I will remember them forever. I love this sport from the deepest part of my heart and will forever be grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it for so long. To my fearless ladies, I love you all so deeply I can’t even explain it. You are all extraordinary and amazing athletes. I’m honored to call each and every one of you my teammates. You will all go on to do amazing things and I hope I can watch the people you’ll become. You made my senior year one I will never forget. We be may not have ended perfect but we sure did go out with a bang. To my amazing coaches, You have watched me grow into the person I have grown to be over the course of the last 10 years. I believe I would not be the person I am today without you guys by my side. You have believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and that is more important than anything. I’ve learned the person I want to be now and in the future because of you guys. You will always hold a place in my heart, because you have always been my biggest advocates. To my parents, Thank you for always showing up for me no matter what and pushing me to be my best always. I have always known you would be there for me no matter the circumstance and it has never crossed my mind that you wouldn’t be there. I especially thank you for funding the sport I’ve loved for so long. I love you all for the support you have given me over the years. I am proud to have worn the KC Cheer name across my chest for 10 years.
