around the cottage 🤍 existing in the in-between has never been my strong suit this transition into our new home has been such an incredible experience, but i am simultaneously feeling like a fish out of water there are still boxes stuffed full that were tossed in the basement, exposed studs and unfinished drywall, a dining table without anywhere to sit, & everything is just simply e v e r y w h e r e it’s been so difficult trying to get things done while not rushing the process just because this unfamiliarity & the sense of things being unfinished, is uncomfortable i know in 5 years I’ll look back fondly on the moments when we ate dinner off of a moving box & wish we had savored the awkwardness that is this major life change instead of wishing it away because despite how uncomfortable the in between & grey areas make me feel, they are more fleeting & more magical than we give them credit for
