1/3. INSTINCT (Short film, 2021) It was exactly two years ago when @branwensummers and I met and we started talking about her project, called @instinct.film , a comedy she had written and was not only producing but also directing and starring. And I admire this kind of people who are able to multitask so much and work so hard in order to create their personal projects. Bran managed to do this all with such smoothness and calm that it made the whole process a bliss. Thank you Bran for being a star!! We went for a very natural look lighting wise, something light to serve the comedy without getting too stylish and in the way of the story. The approach in camera was similar, with just one steadicam shot at the beginning of the film, everything else was mainly easyrig shots, to give a more fluid vibe. Thanks so much to camera and lighting teams that were excellent! I had never worked before with gaffer @richardgrscottfilm and it became the first of many projects together, you are such a joy to work with! And I can say the same about @devan_cs and @aidagarciavega .
