A few weeks ago, we announced the Best for the WorldTM 2022 B Corps! Best for the World is an annual program that recognizes the Certified B Corporations in the top 5% of B Impact Assessment scores in each impact area โโ Community, Workers, Customers, Governance, and Environment.
This week we're sharing more about the Customers section of the B Impact Assessment.
The Customers Section measures a company's positive impact on customers by evaluating the quality of its products and services, ethical marketing, data privacy and security, and feedback channels. This impact area also recognizes products or services that are designed to address a particular social problem for or through its customers.
Here are a few examples of the practices that helped B Corps become Best for the World: Customers โคต๏ธ
๐ผ Providing specific training or support to other organizations to advise on how to serve underserved populations
๐ Having company marketing claims verified by independent external entity
๐ Implementing policies for ethical marketing, advertising, and customer engagement
