I’ve read over 60 books this year, as a single working mother I am very proud of myself! Those are my favourite reads of the year! • Phantasma and Enchantra by Kaylie Smith I cannot even describe how much I love those two books! I was opening them every single free second I got for myself! They were incredible! I cannot wait to read more of her books honestly. • A Court Of Thrones and Roses by Sarah J. Maas This series will forever have a piece of my heart! Thanks to this series I started my romantasy journey. I loved every minute of it, I wish I would read it for the first time. I loved the whole story and character developments. • Quicksilver by Callie Hart I picked this book because it was hyped on BookTok so so much. And let me tell you know, I don’t regret it! The only regret I would have is that I didn’t read it sooner! When Brimstone got released I ran to the shop so fast after my work 😂 I am obsessed! I’ve been told to listed to audiobooks of those two as well so that’s the plan 😏😉 • The Housemaid by Freida McFadden One of my book besties gifted me this book and I am so grateful for it! I wanted to read it before movie comes out this year. I enjoyed this book so much. I love Freida McFadden writing, it always keeps me guessing what type of plot twist she comes up with and I never guess right 😅 • Verity by Colleen Hoover Let me tell you that plot twist in this book had my jaw dropping on the floor! I felt all type of emotions when reading this book you can imagine. I know that Colleen Hoover books get a lot of hate, personally I don’t know why. Is there something I don’t know about? 🧐 please let me know • Shatter Me by Taheren Mafi One of my favourite series ever! If you are already deep into romantasy genre books then it might be meh for you but I would still recommend this series! I’ve read all 9 books with a month and I was running to the shop to get the 10th one as soon as it got released. Now I am patiently waiting for the next one (please hurry up!) • Twisted Games by Ana Huang My favourite book in the series! I the way Ana Huang writes men in the books! Men in real life would never... she is one of those writers that will make your standards higher and higher with every book you read. I love the whole Bridget and Ryhs story! • Hooked by Emily McIntire I’ve seen this book in TkMaxx and I love the cover, so as any sane person would, I bought it. I was hooked from the fist page. Every single time someone looked at me I had my nose in this book. It’s considered as a dark romance but I wouldn’t consider it as one. I love the whole story and I cannot wait to dive into Never After series once more. • Lights Out by Navessa Allen When I am telling you I was giggling when reading this dark romance on the train, it’s not a joke. I love their banter so so much, my type of thing. Once again, it’s not too dark of a romance, or maybe I am broken who knows 🤷🏻♀️😂 • Before Coffe Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi This book was totally different to what I normally read. But I ugly cried so much after the last chapter as I could actually kind of see myself in this character. This is the kind of book that will change the way you see the world. It’s an amazing and emotional quick read which I would definitely recommend. • A thousand boy kisses by Tillie Cole I could speak about this book without sobbing! Broke me in so many ways. I was walking with puffy eyes for a while (well I always have puffy eyes but you know what I mean...) it’s a great young adult romance novel. It opens your eyes on how you see the world. Let me know in the comments what was your favourite book of this year! Most likely I will add it to my always growing TBR! #favorite #bookrecommendations #favoritebooks #bookworm #book
