The irony is not lost on me that I can’t quite put into words the little lump I get in my throat when I find my book out in public. Here, I found it on the shelves of a local library. Dust jacket wrinkled, a coffee stain on a page or two. And, most lovely of all, a few penciled-in “Ha!”s in the margins.
