IM SPEECHLESS! These amazing Alcoa kids have shown me what happiness really is in life. They have work so unbelievable hard to be where they are today. When i first started at Alcoa’s band camp i wasn’t sure if this was the place i wanted to be. I had so much school work and my own guard stuff going on at the time i didn’t know what to do. I took an instructor position for the fall season of “Sweet Dreams” for Alcoa’s 2024 production and was very scared because this was my first time teaching during fall. I was overthinking like MADDD. but when i got settled into this program, these amazing girls help me more than i could have asked. They showed up. They did the damn thing. They work hard. AND... they didn’t give up on themselves, eachother, or me. There were so many days where these girls would give me a group hug and tell me, “ it’s okay you’re growing as a person and learning just like we are” These kids not only care about the sport but they care for everyone and others around them! NOW, finishing the 2025 winter season “BURNED LOVE” with a SILVER MEDAL at ETPAA CHAMPS! These girl are my life and world spinning flags on a field and gym and i COULDN’T be more proud of the spinner and person they are growing up to be. YOU DID IT!!! 🥹😭❤️🌪️
