Some news from @clintsmithiii: “Alright, I promise I’m gonna stop sharing pictures of me smiling and awkwardly holding my book in different positions 😂 but wanted to share that the HOW THE WORD IS PASSED paperback has been chosen as the Barnes & Noble nonfiction pick for the month of January. That means that in hundreds of @barnesandnoble stores across the country you’ll see a table specifically dedicated to HTWIP. (Which is bananas!) I stopped by the Barnes & Noble in Rockville, MD today to sign copies if you find yourself in the area. I have a lot of love and nostalgia for Barnes & Noble because, as a kid, I used to love hanging out there in between soccer games on weekends. I would walk around in my sweaty, muddy uniform reading The Hardy Boys and Harry Potter or just listening to music in their CD section with my teammates. My kids love Barnes & Noble now because a bunch of them have a Starbucks where they can beg me for a cinnamon roll. Running out of words to describe the journey this book keeps taking me on.
