What a week it has been... I just want to take a moment to thank the universe for all the beautiful moments that have come my way this week, even the sad ones. This week I lost a friend who was like a spirit brother in many ways. The news came suddenly and yesterday we finally made the trip to Punta Allen to spread his ashes as he’d requested with a handful of his friends from Canada and Mexico. Max you were an incredible human, and your passing has underlined to me just how brief and special our time here on earth is. I vow to keep on living the present moment, to learn from the past and then let it go, and to pave the way for a bright future not just for my family but for as many others as I can. I also received a copy of the book, Flex Your Age, that I co-authored with my incredible mom @trainwithjoan . I can hardly believe that we are at this point in our journey. I really have to pinch myself to feel the reality sink in. I’ve dreamed of these moments but now they are manifesting so quickly I can hardly catch my breath. My community @thewonderwomenofficial is thriving, and I feel 2023 will be another incredible year for us. 🙏 I’m also forever grateful to my incredible husband @jeanjacquesbarrett for always being real, supportive, and a force of positivity in my life. When I met you I knew my soul would be safe with you, and I was right on the money there. 🙏 I am grateful to my body for continuing to perform for me, as I approach my 52nd birthday. I vow to always do the best thing for you and to respect and honor my own health. My body is my temple, and never a prison. And I have so much gratitude to our rescue puppies Coba and Coqui for bringing me so much joy and allowing me to mother you. I am learning so much about myself and about responsibility and love from you. Thank you for finding me and showing me the way❤️ Happy Sunday world. Wherever you are, I hope you can be 100% present, have the wisdom to change the things you need to change to grow, and the courage to do the hard things. 🙏 The only one that can save you is yourself.
