Today marked a historic moment as @cagovernor signed the legislative package that protects and expands abortion access in California. We’re so proud to have been a part of the California Future of Abortion Council that led and supported this work. We know firsthand what it takes to show up for our communities as they navigate financial, logistical, and emotional barriers to abortion. As we witness and anticipate even more heinous abortion bans be enacted across the country following the Dobbs decision, we are honored to know that we are a part of a movement here in California to ensure that we live up to our promise of being a true reproductive freedom state. This is an important moment and we hope that we continue to collectively make all of the much needed investments to ensure that ALL Californians and everyone forced to travel here have access to reproductive care across the spectrum, including the abortions they need and want.
