This week I attended the FOMMS 2024 conference that gathered computational scientists from all over the US (& other countries)👩🏻‍💻 I was able to see how well-established people in the field interacted between each other - they are scientists, they are colleagues, but most importantly many of them are friends and I realized that alongside the students I met there and myself: we are the next generation of computational scientists 🥹💻 After the last event of the conference, we got together and signed a scientific poster, we went on a hike, found a spot and we danced, we laughed, we started friendships and we created this beautiful memory🩷 cheers to new beginnings🥂 #STEM #friendshipgoals #scientists #scientistlife #science #engineering #programmer
