 Hello, I am Maia-Joyce and I am beyond excited to represent Tremaine Dance Conventions as a 2022-23 Junior Dancer Of The Year. For me, there is nothing like being under those stage lights. I love competing and performing whether it be a solo or groups. My journey into the world of competitive dance began at five years of age with New Level Dance Company. In addition to dance, I am also a competitive aerialist (Circus Arts) I’ve been training for about four years on Silks and Lyra (Hoop) It has been my honor to have received Top awards in both. I am grateful that training in both disciplines are at my studio. Thank you to my past and current teachers at New Level Dance Company, my teammates#ironsharpensiron, my family and those who constantly tune in (especially my Aunt and Grandma, they are yet to miss one) to send me good vibes, and Ms. Alison Stroming for all of your guidance. I am thankful for all the awesome families and friends we have met that showed us so much love. In 2018, I attended my first Tremaine Convention. What brought me back each time was the way the faculty communicated and danced with us. Over the years, I’ve watched the genuine love, respect they have for each other, how they treat each other, including Admin/Office, Merchandise, even Room monitors, and how they continue to grow as a family. And now, I get to be a part of that. Thank you to the Faculty and Dr. Tremaine for your faith in me. I promise to work hard and make you proud. I am so excited for this year of learning, new experiences, meeting new friends, and new cities to explore. I am ready to Train with Tremaine. Help us in congratulating Maia-Joyce!!!🥳❤️
