[Reposting with corrections] So many takeaways from the recent American Society of Dermatologic Surgery meeting in Denver, CO. My highlights include: - Participating in advisory boards on new products and neuromodulators in the pipeline. We will likely have 7 options within the next year. They each have interesting characteristics and it will be great to have so many options for my patients. - I co-moderated a session called Lights, Camera, Action. @shereeneidriss @drjeanetteblack and my cool-moderator @drnoellesherber shared our experiences and had a very lovely conversation with lots of input from the attendees. There are lots of ways to hit that typing point on social media, being authentic and relatable is key. - Skin Biome care is the future of skin care. I participated in a Hot Topics session discussing the difference between gut and skin biomes and why it is important to use microbes native to each area for best results. - There were lots of interesting lasers, devices and products in the exhibit hall that I was wanted to see but not yet convinced they are worth offering to my patients- new treatments for Cellulite, Body contouring and more. - One of the best parts of the meeting is always the time between sessions and meetings when I get to catch up with friends and colleagues. #bestDAYever #drdorisday #asds2022 #meeting
