i wanted to share this video of me at my lowest point in 2022 back in summer 🫣 social media right now is full of how awesome everyone’s years were & i felt a bit weird posting something that only showed the good bits of my ‘22 because the truth is that this year had its fair share of real lows as well as some amazing highs. i don’t know if this is too much to share online, but i feel like i overshare so much in my songs anyway so y’all are probs used to this from me 🫠 i made this video at a time when i felt so directionless and confused and sad. i made it for myself, to look back on whenever i need perspective to see how far i’ve come and to remember to have compassion for myself and have perspective that things will get better. i’m not posting this to end the year on a negative, not at all. i’m so grateful for everything that 2022 brought my way and all the support i’ve had for my music this year and i’m so so excited for 2023. i think it’s important to celebrate small things as well as the huge obvious stuff at NYE, like simply the fact that you’re still here & that you got through the shit life threw at you the last 12 months !! here’s to a year of more highs and less lows 💜
