AURA OMBRÉ KNITS These pieces are true labours of love. First...the yarns are made from recycled cotton from cut and sew scraps, combined with nylon from recycled PVC bottles for added durability. Each piece is then hand loomed by an artisan in LA, into a fully fashioned garment which creates its shape. Even the drawstrings are hand knit. Next the pieces are individually bottle dyed by hand. This painstaking process takes 24 hours to complete and cure, at which time they are individually washed out to achieve the super soft hand feel. We’ve been working on these for a while, but in this case, the juice was definitely with the squeeze.
