🍓Strawberry Freckles🍓 ~ Brynn calls them my strawberry freckles. This is scary for me to post but, In trying to see myself through her eyes and trying to accept my acne, I’ve come to realize that I’m tired of hiding behind makeup or little edits to make my skin look “better” and “clear” for social media and the fashion industry. It wasn’t until 5 or so years ago that I started to struggle with my skin, after not having many acne issues throughout my teen years its been a very hard journey to overcome. With a lot of trial and error I finally feel like I am slowly healing my skin and my body from everything that it’s been put through over the years. I’m tired and done with feeling like I am not “society’s” standards of beauty and that I’m not enough just because of my acne. This may seem stupid and like a small issue to people but being totally honest, I don’t f’ing care anymore. This is me🤷🏼‍♀️
