Happy Woman’s Day! @kangsophia (Head Bartender, @oneninetybarsg) Born and raised in Incheon, South Korea; Sophia was introduced to the vibrant bar scene as part of Regent Singapore (formerly a Four Seasons hotel) Manhattan's pre-opening team back in 2014. Having worked her way up from a service staff to the first and only female bartender in the World’s 15th and Asia’s 6th 50 Best Bars, Sophia now takes the reins as Head Bartender at One-Ninety Bar at Four Season’s Hotel Singapore. Being from overseas it has never been easy to settle in a completely new country, a lot strength and drive is what Sophia have deservingly moved from her initial role as service staff to the first and only Head Bartender of Manhattan. It doesn’t come as a surprise if you know Sophia who definitely was the force behind the success of Manhattan with her soft outlook but yet strong personality and ability behind the bar!
