Growing up in the Chicagoland area, a lot of my Saturdays were spent watching @realsvengoolie. He is a big reason why I love horror movies and why i work in TV. Being able to direct a special for him and @metvnetwork brings everything full circle for me. If you are in the area and would like to come celebrate Svengoolie this Tuesday at 2pm in Berwyn’s Serenity Park, we will be honoring him as he gets the key to the city.
