I don’t think you need to know all of who you are to express yourself through makeup, hair, fashion, etc. Like, I don’t think it has to make sense or be justified in any way to yourself or to others because so much of it as about self discovery and trying on different versions of ourselves. We don’t have to commit to any one singular version of ourselves, ever, at any point in our lives. Like, how could we possibly know all of who we are, and even if we did why would we want to stop there? So basically, what gives us the right to hold ourselves back!?
