Treated my mum to a day trip to @mitcheltonwines in Nagambie, about 1.5 hours from Melbourne, as part of her 60th birthday celebrations. We had lunch at The Muse, the on-site restaurant and then enjoyed a very relaxing massage at the day spa, part of the hotel. If you’re stopping in or doing lunch at the restaurant, make sure you order the herbed risotto, which was the highlight dish. The corn and manchego fritters and the coffin bay oysters were beautiful starters. My mum loved the Straight Outta Thyme cocktail there. Also, the highlight of the restaurant is the giant fireplace, which is the perfect spot for a wine or dessert after lunch!
