Replying to @user6918649843576 For everyone who is wondering, when you skate on unmaintained wild ice it is always at your own risk. I ALWAYS skate with a group of trained professionals who are very experienced with how to measure the ice for safety. We also wear life jackets under our jackets when it is the first freeze.
