#PSA My babies are my most precious cargo and it’s my priority to keep them safe. Child Passenger Safety Week is September 18 to the 24th and it’s a great time to double check that your children are in the right car seat for their age and size. As much as we don’t want to think about it motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for children aged 14 and younger. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has a super easy way to check and make sure your child is in the right car seat. Simply visit NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat and enter your child’s date of birth, height and weight and it’ll help you find the correct type of restraint for your child’s measurements. Steps like making sure harness straps are not twisted and the chest clip lines up with armpits are must do’s learned on the website. Make sure your child is in the right seat for their age and size. For more information on finding the right seat, visit NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat. Tap the link here or find it in my bio. This post is in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ad Council. @nhtsgov @adcouncil #TheRightSeat #ad
