Pt. 6 // THE SET 🎶 •• It was absolutely *perfect*. Firstly, shout out to Noah (keys) + @damaresgs (electric) + Tom (acoustic & BGV) + @rafabarekath (cajon) — you each blew my mind with your talents, technical skill, beautiful hearts, and willingness to wake up for a 4am set 😍😂 I freaking LOVE y’all! Secondly, @tiffanybuhler — thank you for taking a chance on me. You so lovingly invited me across the world to lead at your glorious @davids_tent and you entrusted such a powerful space to me. I love you and I want to publicly honor & thank you for being in my corner. I’m in love with you, Mommy & Godmomma ♥️ I’ll be posting a YT video with all the deets, so here I’ll share the 3 reasons why I loved leading on the night stage, at 4am, during the “wee glory hours of the morning”... 1. The people who are there reallyyyy WANT to be there! They’re all-in, so passionate, and crazy hungry for God. They danced with me, cried out with me, sobbed with me, and encountered God alongside me—I fell in love with those crazy fellow Jesus-lovers ♥️ 2. It’s soo intimate. About 30-40 people were in there (of the 5,000+) and it was such a cozy atmosphere. I love looking into people’s faces when I lead, and I felt like I got to contend for each one individually during my set. 3. I love working my way up and paying my dues! It’s so healthy, so humbling, and so powerful to lead a smaller crowd on a smaller stage in the crazy early hours of the morning when most are still asleep. I am beyond honored to be entrusted with such an intimate spiritual setting, and to have the privilege of leading those who fought to be there throughout the night.
